PMMM-buttons

The five Mahou Shoujo/Magical girls from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. This was originally designed for heart-shaped buttons, but the button machine I imported from China turned out to be an unmitigated disaster, so I re-designed the set for standard round buttons. I tried to give each of the girls looks that expressed their characters: Mami, the oldest, I see as somewhat maternal, so she became demure in my rendering; Madoka, cheerful; Sayaka, takes a heroic stance (and at least starts off with a sense of fun); Kyouko, a badass who's always eating something (Pocky); and finally, Homura, giving the Hairflip of Doom. Display is in "Shipping Order": Madoka with Mami and then Homura, and Sayaka with Kyouko. Amazingly enough, the worst problem I had was with settling on the background for Sayaka--I couldn't find just the RIGHT blue.  I had been thinking about adding "Moemura" and Kyubey, but I decided to limit the set to 5 buttons to keep it affordable. Lineart was down with a Kaimei weasel hair brush pen and color in Photoshop.
